Dooley has always been a highly reputable company, and we thought we would never go anywhere else. But they are absolutely NOT WHAT THEY USED TO BE!! I can’t even begin to express how awful my most recent experience has been with this company. I would give them ZERO starts if I could. A technician came out February 2024 and sold us on the Halo filter. He guaranteed we would have high quality drinkable water and no need to buy salt or bottled water again. I have a pump/lift station that Dooley’s has worked on before, so I called on a Friday during business hours and got a virtual assistant, left a message and the computerized answering system said I’d receive a call back the next day (which was a Saturday ??). No call back but not surprising because it’s the weekend. However, on Sunday I received an automated text saying someone would be out the next day (Monday). Come Monday, no call, no text, no show. If you want a plumbing job done right at an affordable price this is the place to get er done. The Dooley company is the best! Aarron and Tylor did a great job today. I'm so happy they were able to fix the issue this old house had to give. Now, I can take a bath. lol
Beware that they charge you a fee for estimates. We bent our well pipe and broke the cap off of the top. They came out and spent 5 minutes to quote us $1200 to excavate around the pipe and $800 to fix it and then charged us a fee to quote it. My husband dug around the pipe down to where it was bent (about a foot down) in about 5 minutes. And they wanted to bring an excavator out for that? And then we called another company that came out and charged us $400 to fix it on the spot...no estimate fee. I have no idea how they are ... read more
