I shattered most of the bones in the middle of my foot and thankfully Dr. Dooley fixed me up very well! Now I’m able to walk all day and even run 10km without pain.
I’ve seen some negative feedback, and I have to be honest — the problems people talk about are issues with the healthcare system, not the doctors. The doctors are doing everything they can having gazillion patients and extremely limited time. Six months ago, I couldn’t sleep, walk, or live a normal life. Dr. Dooley replaced my hip — it’s considered a major surgery — but by the second day I was already walking, and by day five I no longer needed a walker. Very arrogant, didn't even talk with me pre-op except to draw a sharpie mark on the side he'd be operating on. Then showed up to surgery late, and didn't see me post op either. Not interested in whether or not you're recovery goes well. Assembly line mentality with zero empathy. Told me I should just get used to being in pain when I went back two months later looking for help. Eight months post op now and hip is still in pain, plus bursitis now too but no point in seeing him again for that as he wouldn't do anything about it... read more
Dr. Dooley is an excellent surgeon, well run office , staff are totally on the ball, hard to find in today's world. Easy access to his service even years after a procedure I HIGHLY recommend him !!!
Very dissapointed with Dr Dooley, he was abrupt & insensative. I was referred for hip replacement which he did not even look at & told me because i wasnt walking straight enough that he was referring me for phsio & they would call me, goodbye. I have been suffering for over 2 years, with poor sleep & drastically reduced day to day life.. at 70 yrs old this left me very depressed. I will never go back to this Dr.
