I ordered 4 dozen doughnuts for a company meeting on Thursday evening for pickup on Friday early morning. When I showed up there was a sign on the door that read "closed due to equipment failure." I never received a call letting me know this. I called the next day, as it doesn't seem like anyone answers the phone there, and spoke with the manager. Great donuts and service, but we ate in and I felt so sorry for the employees, who were constantly blinded by the morning sun. In order to make eye contact with customers they had to shade their eyes with their hands. I hope the owner sees this and is open to installing shades, as it looks like this would be a year round issue. 5 stars though and enjoyed being able to have the donuts I grew up enjoying in southeast Cedar Rapids!

Not sure why this location consistently struggles to keep donuts stocked during normal business hours. It wasn’t even halfway through the day, and they were already sold out of certain donuts. If demand is this high, management should do a better job forecasting and preparing inventory. It’s disappointing to make a trip specifically for donuts only to find there’s little or nothing left.
