After the fires we took a beatup old truck in, desperate to get it working since we lost everything else. The owner kept it for two weeks, fixing everything on it. When we went to pick it up he had a stack of receipts for it, and said he would send us a bill. He never did. I'll never forget his generosity. Did a bang-up job, too.
