Restaurant The Pub at Don's Pomeroy House is great for a lighter bite to eat, to meet up with friends, or have a casual drink. Try the crab cakes, they're great. The staff doesn't rush you, it's a nice relaxed pace.
Unique Restaurant This place has it all...ambiance, history and a quaint setting for dining. Prices aren't low but the food is stellar and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. My wife and I have reserved the private room upstairs (one table seats 4) for special occasions. 15% gratuity in that room but for a special (private) occassion, it's well worth it.
What a Shame – We have been happy patrons of Don's Pomeroy House for 20yrs, have gotten to know everyone, and have enjoyed the special service and familiarity that comes with that. We have enjoyed the food, wines, camaraderie with staff, and ambiance of the historic house. Until now. After a fine happy uneventful dinner evening, for reasons unknown an asst. mgr. chose to accuse us of causing an incident which NEVER OCCURRED. My wife & I were astounded, and informed him nothing occurred. HE INSISTED. We left the restaurant di... read more
Major Dissapointment – I ordered the New York Strip. The only thing that was worth eating were the green beans. The mashed potatoes were very stiff with little flavor. The steak was the worst cut of meat I?ve EVER had. It was very fatty and full of gristle. It tasted like they threw salt and pepper on it and tossed it in a frying pan. I got a side order of shitake mushrooms. They were fried in butter with nothing to season. The food was very unimaginative with mediocre presentation. The service was , however, very good. Even though this is a very fancy resturant. They do have a pub in the basement where you can eat. They have a reasonable menu for the pub, but you can also order from the upstairs menu too! The crab cakes are great!!!
Best restaurant in the Cleveland area – It's a seafood place but if you like steaks try the strip steak. The Sea Bass is real good too. It has a cherry port sauce that is unbelievable.

Fireside fine dining in an 1847 tavern. – The Scene Wrapped in raw brick and a romantic glow, this restored 19th-century stagecoach stop draws sophisticated foodies and flirting couples. Ebenezer Pomeroy's homestead shuns "ye olde alehouse" clichés in favor of comfy, book-lined booths and a cozy fireplace. Down a winding oak staircase, though, the Pub hums like the Dickens. The Food The kitchen dips into the American comfort-food canon for revved-up versions of beef, chop and seafood classics. "Voodoo" shrimp comes bacon-wra... read more
