I paid a small fortune to have my thunderbird 390 motor to be freshened up. It took a lot longer then what was originally quoted. I was also was charged for taking up space while the car was not being worked on. The price when the car was "ready" was triple the amount of the original estimate. The distributor was making a ticking sound with the engine revs. I was told just "drive it and that it was fine, the motor ran good." Two days later the engine shut off.
