I had an incredible experience living in my first apartment here. The location was perfect, and the apartment was spotless from day one. The entire building, including all the shared areas, was always clean and well-maintained, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Billy, the landlord, was amazing—he was always available, responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. We rented a unit from Donovan and Associates Properties from 2019 to 2023. The apartment retained its original craftsman style but the appliances and kitchen were all updated and cared for. The building was well maintained both inside and out. What few maintenance issues occurred were always promptly addressed and resolved by management. Billy was always quick to respond, courteous, and professional. I've lived in a couple of different apartments in Donovan & Associates buildings over the last decade. (Only moved because a larger unit became available that I'd had my eye on!) They are honestly the best landlords ever. These people are trustworthy, honest, kind, and they take excellent care of their small group of buildings, which seem to mostly be vintage with beautiful hardwood floors and classic features, but with utilities that are up to date.
