This review is specifically about the NICU. What I witnessed and experienced here was extremely concerning and absolutely unacceptable for a unit caring for fragile newborns. There is a serious issue with how certain staff are treated. They pick and choose who they target, especially minority employees. People of color are often written up or pushed out for the smallest things, while others who make far worse mistakes are protected. This place is amazing, had complications while in labor. My doctor and nurses were amazing. A special major Thank You! To nurse Kayla, she treated me with so much kindness, her care really made a difference on my stay. In general everyone at this hospital was professional and caring.
First and foremost my wife got into an accident while 7 months pregnant , and from the valets all the way to the nurses,doctors ! Everyone was amazing !! But overall I wanted to shout out a specific nurse. With super kind regards, Alicia D, was a game changer and made sure that my wife was completely taken care of. Not a safe place. Very dirty, understaffed, and apathetic doctors. Rude desk staff. No medical professionals on the first floor to help; rude kids at the desk are expected to deal with a lady’s water breaking in the middle of the lobby.
