Opioid people are not allowed here on suboxone. The people here have been here coddled from the outside world for years. One guy has lived there for 15 years the others are 6+ years. They prefer LBGT people. They have no ideal whatsoever how to live on their own. They don’t attend meetings no structure to help you. It’s a dangerous way to live. Although I have never actually resided at Donleigh, having lived near and associated closely with Mike, Joanie, and the many residents from years past, I can unequivocally say that they/it gives newcomers and "veterans" of AA/NA a bedrock of both support and stability. They (Mike and Joanie), being involved in 12-step programs respectively, are involved in this for the simple reason that they care.
