I saw Dr. Dong for esophageal manometry and related testing, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. In my opinion, his bedside manner was among the worst I’ve experienced with a specialist. Communication was minimal, explanations were unclear, and asking for clarification felt unwelcome. Patients coming in for these procedures are often nervous or already dealing with difficult health concerns, and I did not feel much empathy or patience during my visit. He is very pleasant and was on time. A good experience overall.
I waited a full year to see this Doctor and was so disappointed. His bedside matter needs work. Before the procedure, he did a poor job explaining what he’d be doing and what to expect. I did my best but started coughing/gagging and couldn’t finish it. All he did was yell at me to relax . I wish they would have given me a moment to calm down and re-try. What a waste of time.
I am very satisfied with my visit. Dr. Dong is extremely attentive and never rushes the appointment, unlike many other doctors. He takes the time to carefully listen to all concerns and acts promptly. If necessary, he immediately provides a referral for an X-ray, which shows his professionalism. It is clear that he has extensive experience and truly cares about the health of his patients.
There are some people that should never have become a Doctor and definitely. He is one of the worst experience In my entire medical experiences!!! If you are reading this please do not go there......
