Do not waste your time. It took me an entire year to get to a hematologist and I wish I’d gotten anyone but her. I was referred for an iron infusion that my G. I. Doctor. On my first and only appt with her she rushed me, didn’t listen to anything I said to her and said she’ll see me back in 6-8 weeks? For what? When I tried to call her I had to talk to her nurse that would relay the messages to her. Dr Vicente is congenial, knowledgeable, and thorough.. I trusted her immediately. Would definitely recommend her for anyone dealing with hematology or oncology issues..
This doctor is elusive... saw her once for new patient appointment and then for a rushed 5 minute appointment throughout my chemo treatment. All other visits were rescheduled to a nurse whose answer to questions was "That's a question for the doctor" or a nurse practitioner who wouldn't or couldn't listen. Doc seems to like to take time off whenever i have a visit scheduled. The insurance company still got billed the same so I am certain this is a great way to make money.
