Dondero was hired to install 2 paver walkways and a stone patio. I amended the contract to specify best & common practices for preparing the base underneath the walkways and patio. And, to specify a 3 year warranty period to address any defects (heaving, sinking, puddling). After the very first rain, I had wetness underneath the patio (due to a poorly connected drain pipe). We do not get paid in full until Contract is complete .** ****** prior drainage issues with his contractor who did his back yard are between them.he would of needed to pay extra money. Hired to remove 3 trees, missed drop location for 2nd tree by 30 feet and crushed playscape. Promised to replace, but never did. Took to small claims court and he ignored court date and judgement against him. Would not let this man rake my leaves. Completely untrustworthy.
Had a new sidewalk and landscaping in our front yard in May. Very pleased with the sidewalk, but two of our shrubs have died. Called early June to get them replaces and was told they would come when they are in the area. Almost three months later we are still WAITING. WHY?
Was hired to remove three trees, first went OK, second missed where it was supposed to drop by 25 feet and destroyed a playscape. He was not allowed to attempt third tree. Despite promises to replace playscape via a claim with his insurance company, no payment was ever received. I even have a letter, hand written by him, promising payment after filing the claim with his insurance company.
