The employees went above and beyond to fix a mistake that wasn’t even theirs. Very impressive customer service!
Ordered 2 pepperoni pizzas on the app, they deliver the wrong ones. Driver takes them back and marks the order complete. I call the store twice, no one picks up. Wait 10 minutes and call and the lady (manager) says oh we got busy and forgot about it - not what I wanted to hear. I waited 30 more minutes, no pizza, so I drive there and ask where is my pizza. I should have looked in the box before I left the store tonight. Completely burnt. Picture is a pepperoni pizza. Definitely not what it is supposed to look like. The cheese pizza was also burnt and looked similar. I don’t understand why anyone would think this was acceptable to box up.
I ordered pizzas for takeout, got home and realized that my order was incorrectly prepared. I went back to the store and the Donatos staff members were very professional and made sure I was taken care of. Everyone makes mistakes, it’s about how you respond to those mistakes. Your pizzas and customer service are great!
