Donatello's & Donatello's are, by far, the closest thing you will get in the area to authentic NY style pizza. As a matter of fact, they would survive quite well in NYC. Absolutely perfect pizza, delicious sauce, incredible crust...they make their pizza with care. The staff are always pleasant and friendly.
I feel 50/50 about this place at the moment. The Stromboli is a MUST I give it a 10/10 but, I did not like the sausage cause it had the little seeds but I know for next time to get it without. The garlic bread was a little lacking, and very over done and hard. 4/10 Funnel cake fries were good but VERY over fried unfortunately :/ 7/10 I will give them another try in the future, the Stromboli is definitely worth it and filled with toppings and that melty cheesy goodness!
If I could give this pizza shop 0 out of 5 stars, I definitely would. This was my boyfriend and I’s first time trying this pizza shop, and our experience was in the words of Gordon Ramsey, “absolutely dreadful.” We received the wrong pizza to start, and the funnel cake fries were so hot, that they melted through the bottom of the styrofoam container, and partially through the container underneath.
