We saw a sign on the interstate and decided to stop at Donaldson's Finer Chocolates. We were not disappointed. Many chocolates to choose from. We also got a chocolate covered strawberry. I wish we had sampled them in the chocolate shop so that we could tell the owners just how delicious this chocolate was. Instead, we tried them in our car and by then, the store had closed. I really meant to send this earlier, but life got in the way. I placed an order around Easter and it was delivered to the wrong address, which was TOTALLY my fault. The wonderfully kind woman who received it actually returned the chocolates to Donaldson's! By the time I found out about it, it was too late to get her name. What a thoughtful person! And since I talked to the Donaldson's staff a few times due to my addressing errors, they were beyond accommodating. Their customer service is impeccable �. I am definitely a fan!
As a first-time visitor I was welcomed with the whole story and really enjoyed tasting a couple of items and getting gifts to send to my friends around the country
It's been years since I've been back to the chocolate shop, and my great uncle George has still got it! Delicious through and through. ��
Today Cus Betty, Linda and I visited MR. Donaldson's 50 Years of fine Chocolate Candy, they are the best! We got hugs n kisses from MR. Donaldson himself. Thanks for the great candy!
