He forgets what limb he is working on and reports end up being confusing. He did surgery - which was done well but was supposed to schedule injections and never called. Report on surgery said he had given cortisone injection into rt knee and he had not - he had done injections into the left knee. Did the same thing with my shoulders - got them confused. Was supposed to start me on physical therapy and never did. After seeing him for decades - I left.
I was told they were going to get an prior authorization from my insurance and they would call with apt and they never called or submitted the prior authorization. My wait was usually a couple of hours. When I went to get a knee brace - they said the doctor did not give specific parameters - simply load bearing. I am going elsewhere.
I have been a patient of Dr. Schengle for numerous orthopedic issues. I broke my wrist and he was right there to take care of it. Then I had knee problems about 10 years ago and he did arthroscopic surgery. It was successful and I have been pain free until recently. So now looking at another surgery andthere is not another dr I would want to do this for me. Now the results will be excellent.
Dr. Schengel is awesome! Dr. Schengel did both of my knee surgeries, my wife's shoulder, my son's shoulder, and my mother-in-law's knee replacements.
