In January 2023, Dr Novey took me off Klonipin cold turkey without tapering off. I went through over three months of withdrawals with no help from him. I have been left with shaking and other medical issues, destroying my central nervous system. Many doctors, nurses and EMTs told me he should never have done this to me causing irreparable harm. I would be very cautious of him. If I were a patient of his. I have documented evidence of what he has done to me. He should have retired long ago.
I gave Dr Novey 2 years.. with the very first appointment he was snappy and spent more time typing that listening! I have been medically retired and on disability, i have multiple issues. Everytime i came out of that room i was holding in tears! His questions about why this and why that, his smirks, and just entire attitude making me leave thinking that EVERYTHING MUST be in my head. I've been going to the doctor movie for years now and I like the fact that he took a personal interest in my case and explain things to me a lot better than my previous doctor did not only mention the fact that several years apart we grew up within a few miles of one another back in Chicago I would recommend him to anyone he is intelligent courteous he's a good listener and he tells you exactly what you need to hear
This is not a good place to go if you have more than a few medical issues. I am moving but needed to see the doctor about a medical Issue before I left. He would not see me. No compassion
