Although it looks inviting when you come into their office, beware of those that sit behind the desk. When I first moved to the area in 2016, selected this office. I asked that if they were not in my dental network to let me know. No phone call to say otherwise, it was not until over two years later, when I flat out asked about the insurance and why basic cleanings were costing me money, did they finally tell me "Well, honey, we are not on ANY dental network!" I will never go back. Beware of hygienist Veronica if you are the least bit sensitive to sharp pointy things being jammed into your gums. In my entire life I've never had such a brutal teeth cleaning experience. They also recommend things you might not actually need and don't take into consideration what less expensive alternatives might be BEST for you. This is a business in a high rent zip code. Don't let the polite atmosphere fool you, the profit margin is their main objective.
While their office is nice and most of their staff are friendly, I am disappointed about how they handle insurance. They are not upfront about costs not covered, and consistently recommended expensive procedures. When I got a second opinion, I realized I was being way overcharged and dental work was recommended that was not necessary. Be careful if you go here.
Dr. Harvey is an amazing dentist. He has especially helped me with my TMJ. My jaw no longer pops when I open my mouth. His staff is so wonderful and sweet too.
I thought Dr. Harvey was nice at 1st, but eventually, visit after visit, I saw his greediness, sneakiness, & rudeness: 1) Went for bonding repair: He said bonding can cause infection & I should get all my teeth crowned, front & back (I have beautiful teeth); another dentist said, 'he would crown all of your nice teeth? $15k later, you'd still have risk of infection from a cleaning w/crowns! Dr. Harvey is "off the chain"!!! I heard about him on radio CAU as "natrualist" in denistry. I have had so many bad experineces with dentist, I decided I would try him. Dr. H is not on my dental plan, but I don't care. He is a blessing and he has been great for me and others that I have sent. to him . Dr. H has done filling replacements, pulled teeth, and added caps. He is into saving teeth and works very gently in your mouth . Dr. Harvey is an answer to prayer for me. He is wonderful. He is the best of the best. He takes extra care to make sure I am comfortable and informed. I don't worry or stress knowing I am in good hands. The most important thing is that he is brilliant with excellent skills--working towards perfection. I couldn't ask for more. His staff is also one of the reasons I love his office. He has the best people who truly care about Dr. Harvey and care about the patients. So, I always look forward to seeing them.
