He laughed in my face when I told him I'd been trying to go vegan for GI issues, was always sick, and had histamine intolerance, asthma, and chronic bronchitis. He said 'everybody's histamine intolerant, that's why we have antihistamines'. Also, he could tell just by looking that I wasn't really doing vegan and that my month-long acute illness was really COPD.He sent me for lung testing, scheduled 2 months later. I have a history of thyroid nodules. I asked for lab work to check my hormone level, he said it would be fraud to order labwork and said he wouldn't know what to do with the results, I have never heard this. It was a very strange brief, useless visit. I would never recommend this doctor to anything with a pulse.
I came in to see Dr. Hay for a referral to a podiatrist. He was very friendly and helpful
He’s a great guy, knows his stuff. Would go to him with anything
Dr. Hay was excellent with my teenage boys.
I kept on saying my arm hurt and he totally ignored me and just went about his agenda. Turns out I have a rotator cuff tear. What if I had a heart problem or was having a stroke? It was my left arm.
Very uncaring walked out of room while I was asking questions and never came back. Felt like I was a bother for him. I called for follow up appointment and he never got back to me. I told him I was had been sick for awhile and would like an appointment with a specialist he told me I need to prove it for him to make an appointment. I went around him and ended up with a tumor the size of a soft ball. Doctors like him are the reason I wont go to see a doctor unless Im knocking on deaths door.
