An all-around incredible surgeon and doctor. Dr. Schepps is the most caring and humble person, and an extremely dedicated and talented doctor. I would highly recommend him to my closest friends and family members.
He saved our daughters life. He was kind, professional, compassionate and kept us well informed. We will be forever grateful.
When Dr. Schepps was in Redding, he operated on me for lung cancer in February of 2015. As of today, June 14 2018, I am cancer free!
I have been fighting health problems for 11 years. all the Dr. I have seen over the years have passed my to another Dr. due my bad health. Dr. Schepps is not like that he has stood by me and has took the risk to do surgery on me to help me get better. Thank you Dr. Schepps
Prior to my daughter's surgery, he walked into the room ON HIS CELL PHONE. He kept talking on the phone while he flipped her gown open and wrote an X on her groin area (where she had a hernia). Then he left the room still talking on his phone. Luckily, the nurses at Sutter are great, and they made up for his HUGE lack of bedside manners.

I agree that this was inappropriate behavior on my part, regardless of being on call, and apologized to this mom when I was told about her dissatisfaction but adverse rating written anyway.
