We spent a weekend at Don Panchos Resort in January 2026. Our room was clean and comfortable. Fabulous pool and situated literally on the beach. Ashleigh was amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. We will definitely be back.

The shower smelled of sewage. The taps smelled of sewage. Outside the rooms smelled of sewage. We paid nearly $600 for two nights and everything was stuffed. The air-conditioning remote was broken, the place smelled, and the view wasn’t worth the cost. The service was good — the ladies were lovely — but that was the only positive. Definitely won’t be returning to Don Pencho by the Beach for a holiday. Overall, a very disappointing stay.

I spent my childhood wanting to stay at Don pancho's as it was the fanciest resort in Bargara at the time (40yrs ago) Its changed a lot but the iconic white arches along the front of the building haven't . I was pleasently surprised to find our poolside apartment upgraded to the beach front room 33 . Which has a fenced court yard right next to the beach access stairs . The apartment is spacious and well planned out with lots of amenties including a sandwich toaster in room ,my youngests current obsession so it was very excit... read more
