Purchased a 2014 Subaru Forester from this dealership for $13,000. Within 2,000 miles, the oil warning light illuminated due to excessive oil consumption. A vehicle that cannot reliably travel 2,000 miles without triggering an oil warning should not have been retailed without disclosure. The dealership agreed to perform an official oil consumption test and instructed me to return at 600 and 1,200 miles. At the 600-mile check, the oil level was overfilled during the inspection. My oil light came on while driving home from a road trip and, being all-things-ignorant with cars, I was in a panic. I called Don K and they said to stop by to assess if my oil was low. Over the phone they assured me that the orange light typically means you’re only one quart low. I was relieved already. When I finally pulled up to their service department, they came right out as if I was their only customer.
