They know Porsches well and have done some good work for me. However I've had times when they were very shaky and not reliable or honest. I will not return my Porsche to their shop ever again.
I was recommended to DJ by a friend with another vintage 911. I found DJ to be very helpful, and he made recommendations to me for work on my '87 911 Carerra so as to maximize my best 'bang for the buck'. I'm not a rich guy so his advice and suggestions as to what items really needed to be addressed immediately, and what items could be postponed were very much appreciated. Here's someone you can trust. Highly recommended.
Honest Mechanics with Great Service – Don Jackson Ent i s a family run shop with very knowledgeable mechanics that do an awesome job! They have always worked on my cars and I wouldn't trust anyone else!
Rebuttal To Philip Bowser's Comments – This is more of a statement then a review!! The review written by PHILIP BOWSER is one big LIE!!! The job done on his car was done correct the first time and the second time. The problem was PHILIP BOWSER used pump gas. He was told to use high octane fuel 98 or higher because this was a high performance engine.He was told about the fuel requirements on three seperate occasions by several people including the owner of POWER HAUS . Avoid Don Jackson Enterprises. – I had a 45-60 day engine conversion done that took 1 year and 3 months. 1000 miles after the car was finished I had soot coming out the left tail pipe and noticed it was using oil. All of this was consistent with cracked rings on a piston. I was told it was a bad oil seal in the turbo and it was OK to continue driving it.. Good for Porsches – They have worked on both of my Porsches and repaired what a Scottsdale Porsche messsed up. They are pricy but the work is good and they stand behind it. If you have a Porsche and live within 25 miles this is the plac3e to go.
Best mechanics ever – This business is the best porsche business ever. It is family owned. It does only have three employees but they are very kind.
