We’ve been coming here, with a bunch of other families, for years. It provides a truly unique experience for us and, more importantly, our children. The once egalitarian beach holiday is becoming increasingly unaffordable in Australia but Don Hearn’s remains accessible to most. You won’t get much in the way of creature comforts, but that’s the point of this simple, laid back retreat. Lex is passionate about her guests switching off and getting back to the basics. Long may Lex and the cabins live!

Really worth for money, walking distance to beach and lake. Only downside is shop, but if you plan ahead you can get stuff form Woolworths delivery truck👍👍

Lexi is an incredibly kind host! Her welcoming heart and knowledge on the area was invaluable! The Cabins are homely and have everything you need to cook up a good feed and sleep well. Such a peaceful spot and the local wildlife are very friendly too! Highly recommend if you like old school, chilled out holidays :)
