I have been an employee at Dominion Village since early May of this year and I have loved this job and it has truly changed my life. First and formost this has been one of the hardest jobs I’ve ever had. The staff here aren’t very nice nor are they welcoming. My first day there I was confused I thought I was going to be on my own I didn’t know who I was going to be with so maybe they thought I was being rude because I said I never had that floor orientation. Mom is so happy at Dominion Village. She is treated with love, respect, kindness, and dignity. It feels like home to her. They clearly are trained on how to deal with memory care residents. She is never left in soiled clothes, her meds are given correctly and on time. If she has a bad day they offer words of encouragement and know how to redirect her. Everyone was very friendly and so joyful with all the residents.. The staff is always helpful. We feel blessed that our love ones are here and in the best care possible! It is so nice to know they are taken care of and we don’t have to be concerned about their care. Great place! Thank you Dominion Village!
