I have been extremely pleased with my experience at Dominion Village at Chesapeake. My mother's health took a turn and she ultimately could no longer live with me and my family. It was a difficult decision to make. However, Angie, Tara and the rest of the staff made the transition as smooth as possible. They have shown my mom and the rest of my family nothing but compassion, patience and understanding. I would highly recommend it!

My granddad chose this place where he wanted to spend the remainder of his life. This cosy and loveable place put my heart at ease knowing the caring staff would be there for him when we couldn't. They engage their tennants in a variety of activities that keep them active in their golden years. The director Loryn is a godsend and helped our family when his time came to pass. My grandfather was here for his final few months. The staff was always very warm and caring. They would even FaceTime us and send us pictures. After he passed, the nurses shared many stories about my grandfather’s time at Dominion Village that really helped us get through the difficult time. They exceeded our expectations. Dominion Village is top notch!

We recently moved my mother into Dominion Village. Before deciding on this facility, my brother and I went on a tour of the facility, and then took our mom there for lunch & her own tour. The one thing that stood out on both of our visits was the feeling of “home” there, and how friendly & interactive the staff were with the residents!! Transitioning my mother from a whole house to assisted living is hard in itself, but the staff was very understanding and helpful during this transition. I visited many assisted living options, but this place felt like a match for my mother with its home-y atmosphere and friendly residents. It was important for my mom to find a place that'll allow her to bring her pet bird, an African Grey named Gigi. They allowed Gigi to come and the rooms are spacious enough for her cage.
