STAY AWAY!!! I had booked and appointment with Griselda after seeing an influencer review. Well, the day of the appointment she was not the one completing the service. The lady was on her phone for the entire length of the hair cut. I wish I would’ve seen all the reviews about damage to curly hair. Unfortunately it happened to me as well. This review is long overdue. Do not book an appointment with this salon. The owner Griselda over processed my daughter’s virgin natural hair. We explicitly told her to only trim my daughter’s hair. Griselda chopped off 6inches. They had 4 different stylist work on my daughter’s hair for one appointment. My daughter requested a small section of her hair be dyed blonde. I’m Dominican and I do not recommend this salon. I gave them three chances, and the last time I even went with my sister. The staff was rude, unprofessional, and showed no manners when dealing with clients. They also gossiped openly about other customers, which felt very disrespectful. On top of that, their pricing is never consistent—each visit they came up with a new, higher price.
Love my hair color and style Griselda and Martha is the best!
This review has been long overdue. I do not recommend this place if you have naturally curly hair. I took my daughter back in May for her graduation hair, a simple blow dry and installing clip in extensions. Something we’ve done multiple times before and had never had issues with her curls reverting back. The first red flag was when the lady doing her hair told me to rinse her hair with vinegar to help her curl revert back when she was done with the extensions.
