I went to Dominican Star in ******. I asked for a perm. Only person that day spoke English. Told her what ai wanted. She said $70.00. Before my hair could get permed properly my scalp was burning like crazy and they had to wash out before finishing the process. Burning so bad, they had to use cold water. They did not off a deep conditioner, trim or anything. Next couple of week I was going bald, and had many scabs in my had and bald spots. I went to get a wash and set with my sister, were both natural with very manageable hair. Outside of yet results being horrid due to the stylist using entirely too much products resulting in very stiff blow outs; 2 weeks later we are BOTH experiencing unspeakable amounts of hair loss. Hair falling out by clumps. As a Licensed professional I am almost certain the shampoo girl put chemical relaxer in our hair due to the smell as I washed my hair myself a week after receiving the service.
