After 5 plus years of knee pain and physical limitations, I was referred to Dr. McDermott. My life has not been the same since. With careful diagnostics, physical therapy,and eventual full knee replacement I now can move pain free. Dr. McDermott listened to my complaints and concerns, methodically questioned what I said and determined a successful test and treatment plan that now has me pain free, thus increasing my quality of life dramatically. I highly recommend Dr. McDermott.
He was AWFUL! Worst doctor I’ve ever met in while he was in Southampton NY. It was so nerve racking and stressful for me to see him I actually had to go to ER cause I was close to a heart attack. This was due to the fact that he would talk to my employer and disrespect my privacy. It was soon after he high tailed it out of state! I should sue him and the practice he worked for
Thisman is always in a hurry. He does not care about others well being. He has ruined my boyfriend's life,and almost our relationship due to the stress this man has caused. He doesnt like to take on workers comp because its too much "polotics". Now left with a frozen shoulder we have to find a new doctor!
The clinic was well kept and the person handling scheduling was very nice, but that's it. Dr. Pourtaheri himself was cocky and had an abrasive bedside manner, was very bad at explaining what was going on and answering me or my mothers questions. My second appointment was only about 5 minutes long and we had to drive 2.5 hours only for him to say he can't do surgery on me and to maybe try UCSF, we requested that if he couldn't help us to contact us by phone but he said that's impossible.

I left Dr. Mintalucci with serious questions about his knowledge and competence. But there is no question that he spoke to me in a snarky, sarcastic manner. I won't be back.
Dr. Pourtaheri was a great help.
Dr. Degenhardt did a fantastic job.
Dr. McDermott was extremely friendly and a huge help!
