Spoke with Shawn in tech support about my RV fridge problems that I suspected was the power supply/circuit board on Thursday. Shawn emailed me the steps to take to confirm that it was a bad board. Ordered the next morning and it arrived on Monday. Fridge is working like new again. Great tech and customer service!
The after sales support is woeful. They deliberately try everything they can to just get you to give up. They ignore any questions you have and just reply with 'canned' responses. Their products are not even as durable as the cheap chinese knockoffs.
NO WARRANTY, EVEN THOUGH IT SAYS THERE IS. FORGET ABOUT IT! Buy someone else's products unless you have nothing but time and money to waste. If you buy something say, like the fridge I bought..... factor in replacement in less than two years, and add the cost of refrigerator disposal in your planning. Or buy a different brand once.
Dometic has the worst warranty ever basically there is no warranty. I have brand new trailer after one use the clear bin cracked. I called them for warranty and they told me I had to tow my trailer to dealer waste a day to get it order and they won't send us the parts that does not make any sense my time and gas would cost me more than the cheap made part! That is just showing a great lack of intelligence or common sense for 100 years old company
