I've experienced severe domestic violence in these past 5 years. Ive been recognized by several domestic violence organizations for the outstanding efforts I've put in to improve my way of life and keeping myself and kods safe. I've given speeches in front of leaders of our community and been called a hero and a role model. This is a tough post to write especially from a personal account… I want to write this to help others. I would not be where I am today without the Domestic Violence Resource Center. I experienced domestic violence for 2 years. I’ve been to multiple shelters and I have tried so hard to get on my feet. DVRC helped me close a really difficult chapter in my life. Useless maybe pick up your phones
Discriminatory towards those with cognitive differences, will outright hang up on you and deny you help for "asking too many clarifying questions" therefore you are called difficult and hung up on. I hope the lady feels bette4 and doesn't do that to anyone else or finds a new job as thats... pretty inexcusable behavior for a facility of this nature but unfortunately that's the norm so she's probably ruining other people's lives not just mine.
