I recently purchased a gm np246 from George. Transfer case works and sounds good as new. As a mechanic myself I quickly noticed the clean and organized shop. Questions I had were answered and took time to show me on other transfer case. If ever needed I will definitely deal with again. Thank you George.
George was great to deal with. Took my call in the evening and supplied a reman unit for my 2500hd that I needed asap. Picked up in person and he was real nice. Case is smooth and quiet. I highly recommend him!
So this is how I feel about domestic tc at this point. So I ordered a transfer case for my truck. Paid roughly $1,100 after tax. Plus I drove from Pa to Maryland to pick up. At first, I liked the company. They were really nice and helpful. I had the new unit installed and it blew only 300 miles and 3 months later. Heard a loud bang doing 35mph. Fluid is full of metal shavings! I spoke to my mechanic friend at Chevy and showed him a sample of the fluid. He said no Gm transfer case should have that kind of metal in it that ear... read more
