We had an issue on arrival (Friday afternoon) but despite being finished for the day, Jade went out of her way to help us resolve the problem. We were really impressed by how quickly Jade responded & dealt with it with empathy and kindness. Thank you Jade
My family and I enjoyed our time at Point Lookout. The location is perfect for beach access and some bush walks. The first accomodation I had booked had some issues with cleanliness but when I spoke to the office the next morning they were very helpful and offered a free upgrade to another spot that was perfect for us! I am very impressed with their response to our concerns and would certainly recommend this company for anyone looking for a relaxed cottage holiday!
Hi, I would like to express my opinion on the Point Lookout airbnb we stayed at recently, ran by Dolphin Holiday Accommodation. Such a gorgeous location - beaches and shops just a few minutes walk away. Although, the property was beautiful and spacious, the cleanliness levels were just not good enough. When we first walked in, the floors were still completely wet and there was a big pile of water dropped next to the main entrance. Bring your own toilet paper, soap, tea and coffee - every little thing. Only 1 bar of soap (the smallest I have ever seen) was provided for a family of 4 for a week for both basin and shower. No hand soap by the kitchen sink. I would also recommend bringing your own sheets as you have to make your bed anyway and the sheets provided are flat sheets only, which don't fully cover all mattresses like a decent fitted sheet would. We have just come back from a fantastic stay away at Amity Beach Cottage. I have been going to Straddie for 38 years and have stayed at many places in that time. We mostly stay in Point Lookout, so Ray White is our main go to. Their properties are usually dirty with plates left under beds, cockroaches running over kitchen tops at night and sand everywhere.
