Our go to has always been MingHun , however decided to try Dola- which was mediocre Dim Sum. Spare ribs & Sui Mai, soup dumplings were good. Definitely skip the salted egg Congee- it was bland - the bowl we got served had pork that was at least 2/3 days old - I could taste the stale, breadstick rice rolls( stale breadstick that was re-crisp/refried in old oil. Place is full pack, but food is great! Waiting for table is worth
There are so many better choices in Chinatown! The food at Dolo was mediocre at best and the service was non-existent. The dining room is also dirty and run down. Is it too much effort to wipe down the floors and put a fresh coat of paint on the walls?
An institution! It feels like the entire town gathers at Dolo for dimsum and to watch sports games. There’s a mix of locals, students, tourists at Dolo and it’s the more authentic tasting dimsum in the area. Everything felt above average. Finish the meal off with the portuguese egg tarts, they’re flaky and melt in your mouth.
