Worst experience I’ve ever had. Pick up was fine. Guy at the desk was friendly. I got a flat tire the first night around 530. Was told by roadside that I’d be charged for the tow. BUT they couldn’t tow me until the next day OR they could tow me 2 hours away. (Side note, I was moving cross country & I still had another 10 hours to go. I was given a rental to go from FL to NY without a spare tire. All of my stuff was in that jeep.) I didn’t have time to be towed 2 hours away. The first car had a heavy odor of cigarette smoke. They gave me a different car, which had a low tire pressure warning. I told the attendant who said it was due to the cold weather, Buffalo in winter, and it would go away once the tires warmed up. It turned up to be a slow leak in the rear passenger tire. Great service! Great price! Great car rental! I’ll be back!
Boston Logan rental desk took forever to get through the line. And when we did, we were scammed with commission-led upsells and tactics which gave us a horrible first impression of America. On drop off, we found out we had been charged a whole load of fees which weren’t needed, clearly all giving the Boston desk clerk a nice little commission bonus. Company is losing life-long customers because front desk staff are wanting to make a quick buck.
