Absolutely no overnight parking on street and nearest truck stop is almost 3 miles at exit 119 on I-81. They don’t have free parking. They charges 25$ for night and ticketed entrance. So before picking load for DG charge parking fee from broker.
We arrived an hour and a half early; they gave a door on time, and we we unloaded within an hour. We paid with Capstone the lumper fee and done.
Good experience overall. Checked in at 0300 for a 0400 appointment, had a door by 0400, unloaded by 0545, and paperwork by 0700. How it works: check in at the guard shack, then move to the receiving office in front of the docks for door assignment. Tip: when waiting on a door, park out of the way to leave space for drivers backing in.
