Authenic Italian and very homey setting, literally! Dolce Vita is classic old school Italian. It's in an actual home in Bridgeport with tables setup in the real dining room with family pictures on the wall and everything. The owners are very nice and we thought the service was excellent and personal. Prices are much cheaper on the lunch menu.
GREAT FOOD, VERY PERSONABLE My wife and I have been going to Dolce Vita for the past three years and they are yet to disappoint. Frank is a class act and a pleasure to be around. The fact that on weekends you can choose between Italian or Mexican cuisine(two of my favorites) is great and not to mention both are as authentic as it gets and are to die for! Highly recommend if you are looking for great food with a great atmosphere without putting a dent in your wallet.
YUM! If you love homemade delicious italian food you have to give Dolce Vita a try. I will be coming to this place for every special occasion for now on! LOVED IT!
Addicting and it just keeps getting better! OK, the words out and this place is attracting more people. Everything is cooked to order and they make their own pasta. The menu is Italian and the chef is from Mexico. So, on weekends you get to pick from two cuisines, Mexican and Italian. The Octopus salad is spectacular as is everything on the menu. It's a BYOB and you won't regret going! Tell them Michael sent you! I'm now a regular!
