I ordered the green plate it was delicious. All except their yum yum sauce and the spring roll I didn't care for. But everything else was delicious.
A standout barbecue joint in Statesboro, this local favorite crafts authentic wood-smoked meats and scratch-made Southern sides. Tender brisket, slow-smoked pulled pork, St. Louis ribs, jalapeño cheddar sausage, mac and cheese, and banana pudding headline the menu. A rustic, relaxed atmosphere makes it a must-visit.
This was my favorite place in town but the last 3 visits have been subpar. I’m not sure what’s changed. Ordered today’s special which was shrimp and catfish. I received no catfish and when I I asked why, I was told because it went bad. I did not get any extra shrimp or anything to replace it but was still charged the full amount.
