GREAT FOOD, cashew chicken, yellow curry, WONDERFUL – We have been going there for years now. Always good food. They know us so well when she sees us come in before we can even order she has are regulars already coming out. A few years back when our oldest wouldnt eat anything except yogurt and cottage and cheetoos. Peter, the owners son, took notice and went to the store and got our son cheetos and some coloring books so we could eat in peace. What a place!!! Alway high quality meat. A must.
Dok Koon Cuisine is not a good choice Not a good eating experience. I give everyone benefit of doubt. Satay appetizer had a hair on one of the chicken skewers and then after that my dinner had a hair in it. Need less to say will never eat there again. Highly do not recommend.
A good spot for lunch I frequented this Thai restaurant when I worked in the area. The staff is quite friendly, and the interior is beautiful. The lunch specials are priced very well. Although I do think you can find better Thai food elsewhere, the curries were flavorful (although not as spicy as I wanted), and there were plenty of vegan/vegetarian options to choose from. Definitely reccomended!
Great Food Dok Koon offers a wide selection of dishes that will keep me coming back to try them all. The soups and curry dishes are my favorites. The people are friendly and their take-home containers are sturdy and reliable for the trip home!
Excellent Red Curry – Thought we'd try Dok Koon because it was close and we had a 2 for one coupon. The place was clean and service was friendly. Servers could have suggested tea and other side things, but seemed timid. We've had worse Thai food in Vancouver. Some of our food had its own unique tastey flavor and some was missing any flavor altogether.
