One of the best parenting decisions we’ve made. We have four kids here and they are in multiple sports. Not only have they advanced to black belt and above, but the training- physical and mental- has helped them in their other sports and academics.
My son who started karate at Dojo Karate medina, has gained so much more confidence in who he is. He has gained so much focus and self discipline for his everyday life. The staff there has been always encouraging and very helpful. They treat him like family .
I usually am liberal with my ratings, but if I could give this place 0 stars I would. They are very predatory and have a very big sell, sell, sell attitude. Months after joining, we were explained that for quite a few thousand dollars (I don’t remember the exact amount, but a jaw dropping amount I’ve never heard of from any dojo), they would GUARANTEE a black belt in 3 years, and then my child would not be allowed to come to any more classes (or we could pay an even more obscene amount of money).
