Purchased solar pool cover from Doheny’s in summer of 2024, put cover away in barn during winter. Took cover out and put it in pool after 2 weeks when I went to cover pool cover was so weak that my fingers went thru it. And then I found all these blue dots floating in the pool. Called Doheny to replace it they made me take pictures . After after 3 1/2 weeks they responded that they do not cover this problem. They refused to listen. ☆☆☆☆ Incredibly Disappointed — Misleading Policies and Zero Compassion I rarely write reviews, but my recent experience with Doheny’s Pool Supplies deserves to be shared as a cautionary tale—especially for seniors and families. I purchased a pool ladder through Doheny’s Amazon store for my grandchildren, who unfortunately will no longer be able to visit this summer. If I could give ZERO STARS I would!!! I purchased a pool cover in August of 2024 which carried a 3 year warranty. When I was going to remove the cover, (May 2025) I noticed at least one defect in the cover. I submitted pictures and they approved the claim the next day. They advised me that the cover would be replaced but with a shipping cost of $20.00. Doheny's customer service is awful; trying to rectify a discrepancy with them is not very helpful. When they stop you from purchasing a product, they can’t even explain why they decided to stop the transaction. Doheny's response is first that it’s my bank’s fault for the transaction not going through, but when the bank confirmed that it was Doheny's, the customer service rep then decided that there was a transaction back in July 2023 that I have to resolve (with whom?).
