I've heard of offices double or triple booking patients in a given hour. Here, though... They book 6 patients at one time, meaning each person in their waiting area has to wait two hours from check in to going into the provider's room. Multiple people in the waiting area confirmed to be seeing the same doctor, all checked in at the same time. I also need to mention that when I asked how much longer the wait would be, I got multiple glares from the back office staff and a piece of paper was waved at me, with one of the staff ... read more

I had a great experience in Dr Rootmans office. The front desk was kind, the Dr was knowledgeable. The worst part was that all the appointments are extremely quick and feel impersonal, which can be a bit nerve wracking when you’re getting eye surgery; but honestly I can’t complain with the results I had for a bilateral orbital decompression with Dr Rootman. I feel like myself and look like myself again after 10 years of thyroid eye disease and can’t recommend Dr Rootman enough.

I’m respectfully asking Doheny Eye Center to please offer validated 1-2 hour parking for their patients to discourage them from using the few street spots available to residents in the very community that they run business. It would make a huge difference for the people who live in this neighborhood as it has severely impacted us. I’m not a patient at Doheny Eye Center—I’ve lived in the neighborhood directly connected to it for a few years now. Our apartment complex only has preferential street parking, no designated spots…w... read more
