One star is too good. They stopped my daughter's labor and put her and her child's life in danger, the sent everyone out of the room and told her to sign a paper. they didn't tell it was to stop labor. She was under 18. this cause problems for her. we swapped doctors. DON'T LET THEM AROUND ANYONE WHO IS EXPECTING. Like the other person said they argue and curse in front of their patients. I have used these women even before they broke into their own group and I absolutely LOVE each one of them! They delivered both of my children and also take care of my routine female stuff and are so compassionate, caring, and kind. Would recommend them to anyone seeking female care of any type as they specialize in all aspects of the female life. WONDERFUL!!!

Dr. Potter deliverd my third son, and did my tubel. She was very suportive, even though i was screming she kept telling me everything would be ok. She couched me through the delivery, so i had no tearing.

I have nothing but good things to say about dogwood womens health in SYlva, NC. I love their staff. I have only once had to wait longer to be seen, but only because my doctor had been called for an emergency delivery... I completelly recomend anyone to go there!!!

I began going to Dogwood during my first trimester and loved Cindy, my midwife. I enjoyed going there for the next few months. When I was in my third trimester I was told I had to have an appointment with the actual doctor, Dr. Potter. I scheduled my appointment and showed up 10 minutes early only to sit and wait for another hour. I did not enjoy my visit with Dr. Potter as she dismissed every question I had and did not have a pleasant bedside manner. I typically dont write reviews but I felt compelled to warn other women to avoid this practice at all costs. Not only is the staff rude and unhelpful, I am still being charged for procedures that were never done. I have never been to a doctor with this level of disregard for the patients needs or feelings. Rude and incompetent describes the entire office. Very Disappointing!

I am not here to bash any business and can only give my epxerience. it may be isolated and I hope it is. After a procedure I was in a lot of pain. I called the office and spoke to the rudest nurse that told me the doctor was not available to speak with me so I could get a mild pain reliever. I am not a druggie and do not even use sugar in my coffee. To be made to feel like I am some sort of druggie wwas insulting to say the least. I have spoken to other women who have had the same procedure and said the pain was not normal. ... read more

I just gave birth to my second daughter with the help of Dogwood and one of the midwives there. My experience was wonderful! I also saw Dr.Potter during my pregnancy. She actually came into my sonogram because there was a problem and she wanted to see it for herself, right away. I actually had to have major surgery at 21 weeks pregnant and Dr. Potter and the rest of the staff were AWESOME!!
