Since we moved to Cape in 06, Ive been looking for vets whose compassion, common sense, and loving concern for my pets are the equal of the vet we used for over 25 years in our old hometown.The first time I met Dr. Brenda, Dr. Bill, and Dr. Kelly, I knew my search was over. They take their time to explain things thoroughly, and I never feel like my dogs and I are just a number to them. Dr. Bill and Dr. Brenda have done a great job with our dogs. I believe they eventually became fond of them. I think it was very hard on them to have to put one of our dogs to sleep; they have been taking care of him since he was a puppy. Dr. Kelly is helpful, too, and the staff is great, especially Teresa. We have paid a lot of money over the years but they were worth it and we dont regret it at all. They have always tried to help and been very considerate of our dogs and our feelings.
I had both of my cats declawed at this office. One cat had a horrible paw infection that required over \$100 in extra care, the other cat ended up growing back a claw through the top of her paw, requiring extra surgery and over \$300 in additional bills. I have sent documentation of this to the office and they refuse to respond to my claims. Even my current vet agrees that they were neglegent and should pay for the additional surgery. We have used Dogwood for a few years now and we love Dr. Brenda, Dr. Bill, and Dr. Kelly! We have 4 Boxers, all of which have had surgery for tumors at one time or another and the docs are VERY thorough, taking extra wide margains. Our oldest Boxer has numerous issues and Dr. Brenda goes above and beyond to help us!
We love the vets at Dogwood Veterinay Hospital. They have done a wonderful job with all 3 of our dogs. I and my dogs would highly recommend them.
Dr. Bill and Dr. Brenda have taken care of our animals for years and they are fantastic!! Always seem to know what to do, and they are compassionate to man and beast. Their new vet, Kelly, seems nice and smart too, along th the staff, especially Theresa. Prices are NOT cheap, but they are fair and do great work.
