We were using a different daycare before we started coming here, and Dogtopia has been so much better for us in every way. I love that they use crates to give the dogs a break when they get overstimulated, but the crates are in the same room as everyone else so that they don't feel isolated. I love the extra activities they provide, like photoshoots and special treats. Any minor issues we have had have been addressed and corrected immediately. The staff here are very friendly, very helpful. I love the diverse staff that worked there, it’s always good to see people of color welcomed to work at an establishment. After taking my dog to other daycare‘s, I find Dogtopia to be the kindest and most thoughtful. The best folk work there.
Dogtopia has been nothing short of a dream for Atlas, our Alaskan Malamute. After trying other daycares that never quite felt right, we found Dogtopia, and it was an instant match. The staff greeted him with warmth and care that was immediately evident, and now, nearly every single day, he’s excited to go. I brought my puppy here a while ago for a meet and greet. It seems the meet and greet only consist of putting the dogs straight in the pack and letting other dogs sniff them and if they don't react, then they "passed". But from the cameras, I could tell that my pup seemed to be stressed. At pick up, I asked how my dog did and the person working the front desk said they had just got in and hadn't met my dog yet so they didn't know. There was no report card or anything. Once, I had enjoyed bringing my dog to this place, but the quality has went down tremendously. I have a small dog, and once the small dogs were able to run around in a room and play together. My dog enjoyed this space. Keep in mind, they have a total of three other dog rooms as well. Recently, it was decided that small dogs should only get a small area of the room and dedicate most of the space to larger dogs (again, they have two other large rooms for large dogs).
