Dogtopia of Dulles is amazing! From the moment you walk in, everyone is so welcoming and friendly. The staff truly cares about the dogs and always makes both pets and owners feel comfortable. The facility is clean, organized, and full of positive energy. Milo absolutely loves going to Dogtopia and always comes home super tired but so happy after a full day of playing. I’ve been a customer at Dogtopia Frederick for almost two years, and I’m extremely disappointed with how things were handled at the end. I reached out via email and never received a response, which unfortunately reflects the lack of communication we experienced overall. The few times I encountered the owner, the interactions felt cold and unwelcoming. My Golden Retriever is young with lots of energy. If there is a ruckus happening, he is ALL IN. The staff will break them up and continue to let them walk around. However, if it keeps happening after 3x they put them in what I call 'time out' (the pens around the room). After a few minutes, they open the pen and allow the dogs to continue. This usually are okay after that. I love the way the staff knows my dog even though he is part-time (2 days a week). I do 'house' my dog at Dogtopia when we go away.
