My experience with Dogtopia was deeply disturbing. After booking a free play day a week in advance—and receiving approval within 24 hours—I dropped my dog off at 7:00 a.m. On his first visit, he was removed from the playroom due to “vaccination issues” and isolated in a small room without any attempt to contact me. Instead of calling the owner, staff chose to reach out to my veterinarian and wait on a response from them while my dog sat alone, isolated in an unfamiliar environment. Went for a meet and greet and it went great. Weren’t many dogs there. We asked about drop in daycare because we don’t need a specific amount of days for daycare and were declined. Apparently you either pay $40 per week ($160 per month) MINIMUM as that is the least expensive plan or you can’t do dog daycare at Dogtopia. Outrageously priced for 4 days a month. Also the customer service isn’t even people onsite in Coppell, it’s out of a different state. Not a fan.
This place was amazing. But has declined rapidly over the past several months. They are on the 4th GM. Good people have left, been let go, they turnover is ridiculous. While my dogs love to come to daycare and see their furry friends and the very few that are still here its been such a nightmare. Staffing is horrible. Now all communications go through Arizona and not the location specifically.
Grace with the short red hair, has been wonderful and the puppies love her. She is very involved in keeping them all happy and safe. Continue they great work.
Vee and Ingrid are professional, informative, sweet and helpful ladies! They picked up my baby, Archie, to the groomer next door for me while I was working. Also love the fact I can check on him throughout the day on their live video option in the app. I'm also glad they have locations all around DFW too. I definitely feel good enough letting Dogtopia watch him for me while I'm at work. Plus, what other daycare does Halloween costumes as cute as Archie's cowboy look?! 😍
