My dog has been going to daycare for years. He's become mostly immune to being worn out afterwards but today he was exhausted- a sign of a good play day. They have lunch time snacks when I forget to pack his lunch, a groomer (who I've never used but I've heard good things), and cameras that are easy to pull up. My dog goes to Dogtopia just once or twice a week and she loves it! She's been going for about 10 months. She is overly attached to me and this has been really helpful in getting her to be more independent. She boarded for a few days once and was totally fine - no howling or whining, just comfortable at her home away from home, which is a huge improvement for her. If you are looking for a great place to look after your furbaby while at work or away on vacation, Dogtopia is THE place in RVA! The staff is always so friendly toward both us and our dog, Cashew. She is treated as if she is their own and she is always so excited to see all of them! Webcams are available to customers and it is a feature we use 24/7 to see how she is doing. I love how all of the staff treats my dog as if it were their own. My dog is always overly anxious when I pull into their driveway and can't wait to go inside. I love the treat days and fun things their do every month and especially the activity calendar which shows all they do to make the dogs happy.
