The Dog Was Etc is a special place, with an exceptional selection of food, toys, and treats. It’s a fun place to wash and trim dogs, with state of the art equipment. Plus there is wonderful lab, Jeb. As a local dog trainer, I deeply appreciate the staff’s willingness to fit/ try on no pull harnesses for client dogs.

All of their staff is so knowledgeable and helpful and they seem to know most of their customers/dogs on a first name basis! I have been taking Bode there for 8 years and will continue to do so as long as they are around.

My 90 lb golden retriever, Walter, is a frequent bather here. He is reluctant to get into the tubs and the staff are always SO SWEET to him and help him get in. We love this place!
