My experience at Dog Tag Offroad has been outstanding. Bernie listens to my concerns and type of build desired, inspects Jeep, then discusses options. He is much more concerned with the customers satisfaction, and being friends with Jeep enthusiasts, than making a profit. He works on Jeeps for fun. But of course must cover overhead. An added bonus is having a Jeep Mechanic on trail rides!! And his friend carries a box of tools, small parts, and rescue equipment. Top notch. I took my jeep in for a second opinion. I had been given some bad advise by a non-jeep repair guy. Dogtag listend to my concern, and fixed the problem. I was already thinking major mechanical -- Lifters or even engine overhaul (4.0 needs the heads pull for lifters) but the problem was fixed...no parts and just 1 hour labor. This honestly is hard to find these days. Best of all, my rattling, knocking, tapping intermittant problem is fixed and my old jeep runs as good as new. Super nice guy who gives it to you straight. Just be careful because he'll talk your ear off if you let him!!! Highly recommended from a friend, now highly recommended from me, and he's not even started on fixing my rig!
